Watching films, eating popcorn ..... only joking. As an Area Manager we ensure that Vue operate our cinemas to the highest standards possible. We come up with the operational standards that are set as a team, and implement across the circuit. Using the balance scorecard method, tasking teams to hit their KPIs through hard work and support, to ensure we maximise profit while maintaining good standards and delivering excellence customer service.
We also deal with any high priority issues which may occur. We liaise with head office functions and help support their projects in any way we can, ensuring that we fulfil the strategic aims and objectives of the company whilst living the company culture and values.
This is not an easy job, but it is enjoyable if you learn quickly, and are not afraid to get stuck in. It is a good balance between working on the front line, but whilst still being involved in head office projects, developing ideas and implementation at the sharp end. We have some great people working at Vue and we are a hardworking team who support each other, the product is constantly changing and making every week exciting, there is always something to look forward to in order to keep your passion in the product you’re selling.
