Robert Wilkins

I was originally made redundant from Dunlop Tyres where I had worked for 10 years. I happened to see an open day for Warner Village cinemas which sounded like a fantastic opportunity and went along. I was offered a position in Maintenance at Star City which I gratefully accepted. At first I have to admit, I took the position until I got a "proper job" back in engineering. However, I soon realised that I could see another career path as a Cinema Manager. I have now been working for the company for over 14 years.

Every day has the potential to be different, which makes the job so interesting. Every day however does have structured tasks that need to be completed. From cash management, stock control, Health & Safety checks, supporting/training of my team, providing great customer care and service and most important the presentation of films.
