ACT ONE – THE ROLE

A Team Leader role offers you the opportunity to become a key part of the Cinema management team as well as taking on Duty Manager responsibility.

You’ll continue to ensure customers have the best ‘big screen experience’ through the continuous training and development of Customer Assistants and close monitoring of standards. You’ll drive profit my making sure Customer Assistants are knowledgeable about the best ticket, food and drink deals as well as remaining a hands on member of the customer service team yourself.

ACT TWO - WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE DO YOU NEED?

There no minimum time you need to have been with us but you should have a good understanding of all aspects of operating the cinema and be able to demonstrate when you’ve gone above and beyond in your current role by helping to drive sales and maintain standards.

You’ll feel ready to step up and supervise the team; you ideally will already been involved as a Training Buddy although this is not essential.

THE FINALE - WHAT WILL YOU GAIN?

You’ll get on the job training from your management team with regular reviews and exposure to a variety of reports and management tools we use to drive our business and meet the KPIs in the Operations Dashboard that feed into delivering the Cinema Business Plan.

What better way to learn more about a career in management than being in the foyer, behind the scenes and managing the “game plan” for the day.

THE CREDITS - ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

As you may already know, any Duty Manager at Vue is required to hold a personal alcohol licence. This means that if you are successful, soon after your appointment we will need to complete a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, previously known as a CRB check.
