Cinema Manager

Vue West End
Review Upon Application

ACT ONE – THE ROLE

The role of a Cinema Manager is to manage the day-to-day running of the site. As well as playing a key part in the successful delivery of the Cinema’s commercial objectives you’ll get to work with your General Manager to implement the Cinema Business plan. Additional responsibilities will include, but are not limited to;

  • Running team meetings, introducing and driving new business initiatives and incentives
  • Ensuring the team provide a friendly and helpful service to customers
  • Evaluating customer service related KPIs and making recommendations to your GM
  • Ensuring compliance with all legal requirements and company policies
  • Managing stock levels in order to maximise sales according to forecasted attendance
  • Maintaining digital projection and sound equipment

ACT TWO - WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE DO YOU NEED?

Perhaps you’re a high performing, experienced Team Leader who is ready for the next challenge or you might currently be a Manager in a smaller banded site ready to move to a bigger cinema.

Either way, you’ll need to be able to demonstrate:

  • A commercial mind-set
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • You are flexible, confident and resilient
  • You have a customer focused approach
  • You have the ability to lead, motivate and inspire your team to achieve the best possible results at all times

THE FINALE - WHAT WILL YOU GAIN?

This is a fantastic opportunity to take the next step in your management career.

You’ll get on the job training from your General Manager with regular reviews and the opportunity to attend area based training workshops if needed.

You’ll also be part of the Cinema Managers Incentive Plan (CMIP) which is paid annually. Plus access to life assurance, childcare vouchers and a matched contribution of up to 5% in the Vue pension plan.

THE CREDITS - ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

As you may already know, any Duty Manager at Vue is required to hold a personal alcohol licence. This means that if you are successful, soon after your appointment we will need to complete a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, previously known as a CRB check. If you have any questions regarding this or would like to discuss this further, please contact your General Manager or someone in the HR team and we will be happy to help.
