I have two jobs - one full day here at Vue and the rest of the time in a pub. My daughter worked here as student and loved it and I’ve been here now for 6 years. I like meeting people and a lot of people who come to the pub come now come here – they’ll often ask me what’s on and I enjoy telling them all about the films and live events we do now.
A typical day for me involves setting up for the day – everything has to be prepared such as nachos, pic and mix and hot dogs and we need to be ready to great the customers especially in the school holidays when it’s a rush coming in. It’s good to be prepared and think ahead. It’s all go and hard work when busy – we don’t get a lot of time to watch films, we use our free tickets for that.
